Butyl Rubber Sheet

We are a Butyl rubber sheet manufacturer & supplier in India. Butyl rubber sheet has a very low permeability to air and other gases. These sheets are very resistant to sunlight, ozone, and oxidation. The working temperature resistivity spans from -30°C to +110°C. It is resistant to the majority of inorganic compounds, with the highest resistance to mineral acids and alkalis. These sheets are used for Chemical tank lining, pharmaceutical stoppers, Acid protective clothing & many more applications.

People also ask

  • What are the disadvantages of butyl rubber?
  • Butyl rubber has several limitations, including low resilience, only medium physical strength, and limited resistance to hydrocarbon solvents. In the event of vibration damping, it is not the first option because it is more expensive than natural rubber.
  • How long does butyl rubber last?
  • Understanding Threats to Your Butyl Rubber Roofing System's Lifespan. A butyl rubber roofing system should last for around 50 years.
  • How strong is butyl rubber?
  • Butyl rubber vulcanizates have tensile strengths up to 2000 psi and are characterized by low permeability to air and a high resistance to many chemicals and to oxidation.
  • How thick is butyl rubber?
  • Thickness: 0.5mm to 50mm. Sheet Size: 1.4m wide in 5m, 10m and 20m rolls. Finish: Smooth finish.
