Nitrile Rubber Sheet

We are a Nitrile rubber sheet manufacturer & supplier in India. Nitrile rubber sheet (NBR) is a synthetic material that resists most petroleum-based fluids, lubricants, and greases, making it useful in a variety of applications. Nitrile has moderate mechanical qualities and good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons; however, it is not appropriate for usage with ketones. If better or specialized material properties are required, we provide BS 2751, blue food quality, white food quality, and blue metal detecting nitrile grades that meet British and American standards. Nitrile rubber sheets can be cut to your specifications using CNC technology into gaskets, provided by the roll, or made into sleeves. It is also available for purchase online through PAR Direct by following the link above. Nitrile rubber is also known as Buna-N, NBR rubber, or Perbunan.

People also ask

  • What is nitrile rubber used for?
  • Nitrile rubber is used in a variety of applications, including disposable non-latex gloves, automobile transmission belts, hoses, O-rings, gaskets, oil seals, V belts, synthetic leather, printer form rollers, and wire jacketing; NBR latex may also be used to make adhesives and pigment binder.
  • Does nitrile rubber absorb water?
  • SBR and natural rubber both exhibit significant absorption. Nitrile rubber is peculiar in that it absorbs quickly but moderately at first, then gradually declines.
  • What are the disadvantages of nitrile rubber?
  • Nitrile rubber's major problem is that it performs poorly when exposed to UV, weathering, and ozone. It is thus not recommended for outdoor uses. Nitrile has rather weak steam resistance and an unimpressive operating temperature range of -25°C to +100°C.
  • What is the maximum temperature for nitrile rubber?
  • The following aspects of NBR have made it the most widely used elastomer in the sealing industry today: Operating temperature of nitrile rubber ranges from 20°C up to +75°C.
